Peachy

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Here's exactly how Peachy handles your data.

Last Updated: September 2026

Peachy ("we", "our", or "the app") is an ADHD-friendly cleaning companion available on iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and what we deliberately do not collect. The two versions are the same app, and where they differ this policy says which one it means.

No Account Required

There is no sign-up, no password, and no email address. We identify your device with a random, device-local ID so subscriptions and progress survive reinstalls. Onboarding does ask for a first name, so the app can greet you by it, and you can put whatever you like there. Product Analytics below says what happens to it.

Photo Processing

Peachy only uses the camera for photos you choose to take. That covers scanning a messy space, and the optional "before" and "after" photos you can add to any cleaning session, a scan, a Race the Clock sprint, or a Spin the Wheel task.

  • The photo is sent to our servers. For a scan, this is what generates a list of micro-tasks tailored to what's in the scene. For before and after photos, it is so we can see how well the app is actually helping.
  • Scan photos are analysed by a third-party AI provider. To turn your photo into a task list, our server passes it to a specialist cloud AI service over an encrypted connection. We only use providers whose terms forbid them from using your photo to train their models. They receive the photo and nothing that identifies you.
  • We retain the photo to help improve the app.
  • The photo is linked only to the random device-local ID described above, never to your name, email, or other personal information.
  • You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

Local Data

The following data is stored on your device only, and never uploaded to our servers:

  • Your before/after photo gallery. The gallery itself, which photos you keep, how they are grouped, and the ability to browse them, lives only on your device. Copies of the individual photos are held on our servers as described under Photo Processing above.
  • Cleaning sessions and the state of each task (done / not done)
  • Any tags you create (Kitchen, Desk, etc.)
  • App preferences and onboarding state

This data is deleted when you uninstall Peachy. Device backups include it if you have backups switched on: iCloud Backup on iOS, Google One backup and device-to-device transfer on Android. Check your device's backup settings if you want to exclude it. On Android the backup deliberately leaves out your analytics identity and your unsent events, so restoring onto a second phone does not merge two devices into one person.

Product Analytics

Peachy's product analytics run on our own servers, not on a third-party analytics platform. Events are keyed to the random, device-local identifier described above. Analytics help us understand which features are used and where the app is getting stuck, so we can improve it. We do not sell analytics data to third parties.

Three things you give us during onboarding are attached to that identifier, so we would rather be plain about them than call the whole thing anonymous: the first name you type, and your gender and age bracket if you choose to answer. Both of those questions are skippable, and skipping leaves them unset. We never ask for an email address, a phone number, a surname, or a date of birth, and none of those are collected.

The names you give your own Tiny Tasks and spaces appear in the events about them, because that is what makes a report readable to us. If you send feedback or a support message, we receive what you wrote.

Subscriptions

Peachy Kleen subscriptions are processed by the store you installed from, Apple's App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android, and are managed by RevenueCat on our behalf.

  • Apple or Google handles payment, billing, and receipt validation in accordance with that store's own privacy policy. We never see your card or payment details, and we do not receive your Apple Account or your Google Account.
  • RevenueCat (subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy) tracks subscription status so the app knows whether your subscription is active across reinstalls and devices. It receives the same random device-local identifier used for analytics, purchase metadata, and, so that a support request is answerable, the first name you entered during onboarding and your age bracket if you gave one.
  • On iOS only, RevenueCat also collects an Apple Search Ads attribution token (via Apple's AdServices framework) to measure whether a paid campaign led to a subscription. No personal information is included in that token. There is no equivalent on Android.

Refund requests. Refunds are decided by the store, not by us. On iOS, if you ask Apple for a refund, Apple may ask for information about your use of the subscription so it can make a decision. With your consent, given by accepting our Terms of Service when you subscribe, we, or a service provider acting on our behalf, may share: whether the subscription was delivered and working, how much of the subscription period you have used, how long you have been a customer, and totals of what you have paid for Peachy and been refunded. Your photos, your cleaning tasks, and anything you have typed are never included, and nothing is shared unless you request a refund. On Android, Google decides Play refunds and does not ask us for any of this.

Ad Measurement

On Android there is none. The Android app ships no advertising, attribution, or ad-measurement SDK of any kind, and it never reads the Google Advertising ID. The rest of this section describes the iOS app only.

On iOS, Peachy runs paid acquisition campaigns on Apple Search Ads and Meta (Facebook / Instagram) so that people who'd benefit from the app can find it. To measure whether those campaigns work, the app includes attribution SDKs that report a small set of event signals back to the ad networks: install, app launch, onboarding completion, trial start, and subscription. We don't send your name, email, photos, scan content, or other personal information.

  • Apple Search Ads uses Apple's privacy-preserving AdServices framework and SKAdNetwork. No advertising identifier is shared.
  • AppsFlyer is our attribution provider. It measures which ad campaign led to an install, reports the event signals above, forwards conversions to the ad networks we advertise on, and handles SKAdNetwork postbacks.
  • Meta SDK (FBSDKCoreKit and FBAEMKit) reports the same event signals to Meta for ad measurement and Aggregated Event Measurement. We do not use Facebook Login or any Facebook social features.

On first launch the iOS app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. If you allow it, your device advertising identifier (IDFA) is included in event reports so that ad networks can match installs to ads more accurately. If you decline, only privacy-preserving aggregated signals (Apple SKAdNetwork, Meta AEM) are sent, no advertising identifier is included.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not require an account, email, or phone number.
  • We do not track your location.
  • We do not access your Photos library (Peachy only uses the camera for photos you choose to take).
  • We do not display ads within the app. We do not sell your data.

Children's Privacy

Peachy is designed for general audiences, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app asks for a first name and an optional age bracket, and nothing else that identifies a person: no surname, no email address, no phone number, no date of birth. We recommend parental guidance for users under 13.

Your Rights

Your on-device gallery and sessions are under your direct control, uninstalling the app removes them. You can revoke camera access at any time: on iOS in Settings › Peachy › Camera, on Android in Settings › Apps › Peachy › Permissions › Camera.

For server-side data (your photos, generated task lists, subscription state), email [email protected] from any device and we'll work with you to identify and remove the associated records within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Compliance

Peachy is designed to comply with privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA. Server-side data (your photos, generated task lists, subscription state) is keyed to a random device-local identifier rather than to an account. We collect no email address, no phone number, no postal address, and no location. The first name you type during onboarding is the only directly identifying field we hold, and it is whatever you chose to type. Data deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].
